Valvoline Service Plus Program
The average vehicle age in the U.S. is 11.5 years old and that number is expected to increase. Reaching 175,000 miles or better on a modern car is more common than you might think. In today’s economy it makes perfect sense to maintain your car so you can enjoy years of service from your vehicle.
Are you planning on keeping your car for a while?
If your vehicle has less than 150,000 miles and you are planning on keeping it, you need the protection of the Valvoline Service Plus Program. By following the Valvoline plan, all major lubricated components will be better protected for the life of your vehicle and are backed by limited warranty coverage.
Major Components covered under the plan include:
No, all you need to do is to follow the maintenance plan as outlined.
This plan is designed for all passenger cars and light trucks. There are 4 tiers of plan coverage available: one for vehicles under 50,000 miles, 100,000 miles, 125,000 miles and under 150,000.
Valvoline knows how important preventive maintenance is to your family’s safety and the longevity of your vehicle. Murray Motive has always advised its customers - performing periodic maintenance will lower the cost of owning your automobile. Valvoline offers this protection plan because it has complete confidence in its products and its maintenance programs.
The Valvoline Service Protection Plan may or may not differ from your factory maintenance schedule outlined in your owner’s manual. However, we feel that performing the services as outlined in the VPS Plan is well worth it. The benefits of worry-free driving for the life of your vehicle far outweigh the cost of performing the maintenance. In addition, following the VPS Plan will not only add years to your vehicle, but it will also help maintain fuel economy, increase overall performance and because this protection plan is transferable, will add to the resale value of your car.
Absolutely not! Performing any service or repair work at Murray Motive will not void your new car warranty. It is unlawful for any new-car dealership or manufacturer to state otherwise. For more information on your automotive rights click here: Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
If your vehicle has over 150,000 miles it is not eligible for the service plus coverage. However, we still urge you to consider regular service using Valvoline products to maintain the valuable mechanical parts of your vehicle and the aforementioned benefits.
Scope of the Valvoline Service Protection Plan
This Protection Plan is separate from and does not extend the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty. This Protection Plan will take effect only after the OEM warranty expires.
